Year Running: 2016/2017
Credit level: F7

Description

This module explores some of the basic concepts of valuation introduced in the Autumn Semester and critically evaluates their use and the consequent optimality of professional practice. Focusing on the residual method of valuation and through the development of skills in bespoke spreadsheet analysis, students develop skills in critical thinking and the ability to suggest and apply appropriate solutions to client-based problem-solving. The module builds further on broader skills and knowledge introduced in the Autumn Semester, exploring issues and concepts within the regulatory context provided by planning law in decision-making.
